How To Improve Your Workflow in Rhino: 3 essential commands

  1. Hi Lassi, this is a great tutorial video and I really enjoyed watching it! Your explanations are super clear, and watching the commands in action on the screen made it so much easier to follow along. I also appreciated the text cues you added for the key steps — they’re a great help for understanding the process and taking notes.
Since I’m not a designer or part of the main target audience, I’m probably not the best person to give technical feedback. But from my perspective, your presentation style seems really helpful for professionals in the field. If you ever consider making an intro-level or beginner-friendly version, I think it could help a lot of people like me who are just starting out or curious about Rhino!

  2. Hey Lassi,

Thank you for your vlog! You speak in a very calm, collected and easily understandable manner which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have never used or even heard of the Rhino and even I got a basic understanding of the key commands of the software which was super nice! Extra points for writing the tools that you spoke of down on the screen as it made your tutorial extra easy to follow.

It would’ve been great to hear, maybe in the beginning of the vlog, a bit about what Rhino is as a software and what kinds of things you can achieve as a designer by using it but I also understand that your video is targeted towards people that already have some knowledge on using Rhino and thus goes outside the context of your tutorial. It also would’ve been great to see your keyboard as you were talking and actually see the commands you were hitting as you went along but that would’ve obviously required an additional camera which probably would have been a hassle to set up.

Awesome work and thanks for teaching me new things! : )

    All the best,
    Onni
